According to Mehrab news agency, this ceremony was held by the Centre for Supervision on Mosques Affairs in order to glorify the pioneer Imam of the Tehran Province mosques in the conference hall of the Mehrab Cultural Complex with the presence of Hujjatul Islam Mohammadi Golpayegani, Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani (the temporary Jom’ah Imam of Tehran) and Mohammad Javad Haj Ali Akbari, the president of the Centre of Supervision on Mosques Affairs) and many of clergies and the Imams of the Tehran Province mosques.
Etekaaf Ceremony is revived blessing of the Islamic Revolution
Hujjatul Islam Mohammadi Golpayegani, the head of the Supreme Leader’s Office said by pointing to the coming ceremonies of Rajab Month that: we read in Jame’ah Kabirah prayer that beginning and end of everything is because of blessing of the Immaculate Imams (Shiite Imams) and the grand prophet of Islam «بِکُمْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ وَبِکُمْ یَخْتِمُ اللَّهُ...» and you are the cause of non-variation and regular motion of the earth «بِیُمْنِهِ رُزِقَ الْوَرَى وَبِوُجُودِهِ ثَبَتَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَ السَّمَاءُ»
He said by pointing to coming of Ayamul Bayz and Etekaaf holly ceremony that the grand prophet of Islam always did the Etekaaf ceremony in the last decade of Ramadan and revival of this ceremony is one of the other blessings of the Islamic Revolution. Because before revolution, you couldn’t found any other place except Qom for holding this ceremony and the number of people who attended this ceremony in Qom were less than 40. But according to the received reports, the participators of this holy celebration are raised up to 800000 persons that more than 70 percents of this population are young. These affairs are revived because of the revolution. One of the other important issues which is held after revolution is Jom’ah Salaat which was not held before revolution.
Those who come to mosques are the trustees of God
The head of the Supreme leader’s Office reminded this fact that before the revolution nobody was allowed to hold religious ceremonies in appear. We have to pray for preservation of this holy Islamic Regime in Rajab month such holy regime which turned back the lost values to us again. He emphasised on the important role of the Imams asserting you are the soldiers of Imam Mahdi (the last Imam of Shiite Muslims) and those who come to the mosques are trustees of God and are thirsty to learn more from you. He continued that many of faithful people believe to Halal and Haram rules but they have some debates and problems in the religious issues. We have to describe these issues for them because its importance.
The Imams are the spiritual fathers of society
Hujjatol Islam Haj Ali Akbari, the president of the Centre of Supervision on Mosques Affairs thanked to the present Imams in the conference and said: after a long time we could collect the grand Imams of the Tehran Province. He pointed to veneration and homage of the Teachers Week (in Iran) and Martyr Ayatollah Motahhari and added: sometimes it is neglected of paying attention to the important and pivotal role of the Imams of Jama’ah as teachers who have spent their life in mosques in order to educate people and worshippers.
He pointed to the birthday of Imam Ali (A.S) in 13th of Rajab Month and said: it is desired to nominate this holy event as the father day since many years back and we have to thank you as the spiritual fathers f society on the eve of this great event although your dignity as the Imam of Jama’ah is eminent and special.
He added: the religious scholar (Imam) is the main correspondent and pivot of mosques development and our mosques have to be the base of freedom and liberty according to the verses and chapters of holy Quran. Successful management of the mosques is very complicated and exact work especially for those who hold the prayers in three times a day.
The president of the Centre of Supervision on Mosques Affairs pointed to the future programs of this centre and stressed on coordination and conformity between the mentioned centre and Imams of Jama’ah in execution of these programs. He added: it is not correct to ask our pioneer Imams for intervention in executive and heavy works of mosques. We have to use young and attractive Imams beside of these grandees to handle such works in order to help them.
